I have had a wobble problem with my reverse gear box whenever i put it in forward or reverse.I have recieved some good advice on what to check.I have come to find that my shaft that go's from my reverse box to my tranny is bent.
Can anyone tell me how to dismantle this shaft so i can replace it?

priority222 i see you have found your problem.
you can go to forum index scroll down to mini buggy service manual and download the carter talon service manual.there is some pretty good info on what you will have to take off to replace the shaft,i think it starts on page 51.
the output shaft, gasket and 80/90 weight gear oil is all you should need hopefully.
any one of the dealers here should beable to get the shaft and gasket.

Thanks for the info pud!
Is there any way to copy or print any of the manual. I am a very visual person when it comes to repairing something new.

If this is a new machine, Kinroad has a 90 day warranty period. The dealer that you bought the machine from should be responsible in getting you the replacement parts to fulfill their duty as the dealer.

I bought the buggy last Christmas for my kids. The box it came in was crunched pretty good and it has done this from the beginning.I love the buggy,i just want to get everything ironed out on it so it doesn't wear anything else out.I really didn' know any better in the beginning , but since i have been reading the buggy news forums, i now know that the output shaft should not wobble.Anyway, what do you start dismantling first to get the output shaft off?

Once you disassemble the final transmission, inspect the the main bearing and oil seal for damage. If you had run it like this since new, there be abnormal wear and you will get bearing failure or oil leaks later.

3. Remove exhaust
4. Remove CVT cover
5. Remove clutch assembly
