Just baught a used roketa ktr 150, drive belt dissinagrated and installed a new one. might not have been the right one. should there be a little slack in the new belt, the new belt seems to always be engaged and kart has no take off power, bogs down.

was the new belt you put on a 743-20-30 belt
when they are on it should be a little tight.
if you have the wright belt i would check the rollers and make sure none of them has turned in variator. also when you put the belt on it should be at the lowest point on variator and highest at clutch pulley.
has this buggy had any mods done to it yet,if not be a good time to go with lighter rollers or sliders and the 1500 torque spring (main spring)

chances arethe belt is to far down in the clutch pulley. it only needs to be about 1/8 inch down. _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's, ams (manco) , joyner, parts for almost anything
