I have recently purchased a 2007 dazon rader 150CC Double. I have installed Uni filter, 9000rpm CDI, high output coil, 130 main jet, 1500# contra spring and 12 gram rollers. It seems sluggish at top end. Intake seem ok. Also brakes seem to take alot to stop. Any suggestions? Also, what type of brake fluid is used? Has anyone used any of the Lucas oil products for lubrication?
welcome to buggynews, have you checked the plug to see if your running lean or rich? do you still have the stock exhaust on it? where are you located, that will help to determine which jet you will need. _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's, ams (manco) , joyner, parts for almost anything

with the stock exhaust its probably running to rich, I would go down to a 125 jet. run it wide open down a safe section of road or trail, shut the key off still have the gas pedal fully pressed, stop and pull the plug and see what color it is.
black is rich, white is lean. on the brakes you can use DOT 3 or DOT4. how well does your parking brake work? if its to tight it will drake and the pads will glaze over _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's, ams (manco) , joyner, parts for almost anything

I have a 2005 150 double. Check to make sure that the bolts that bolt the caliper to the mount aren't to long and actually tightened against the rotor.
They take 8mm bolts. I can't remember if it was 3/4 or 1" long ones that I used to replace them. So I would check that out too.
wow, those bolts would cause some damage _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's, ams (manco) , joyner, parts for almost anything

Yup, that is why i replaced them with some shorter ones. Luckly the rotor is harder than the bolts. But both front brakes were mounted in this manner, so I had like zero stopping power. Now she stops on a dime.
Mine were 8mm bolts, and I think i replaced them with either 3/4 or 1" bolts.
i laughed so hard when i saw those pics nox there is the chinese for you _________________ 06 joyner 250 sand viper, red metallic..blue clutch spring 17 gram sliders
