My son has a blade 110rm.
I noticed the petcock was leaking. I thought I would replace it and avoid any risk of it leaking while my son was riding it.
The petcock is connected to the tank thru a threaded connector (@ half inch in diameter) that is welded to the tank.
A nut, that has the standard right handed threads on the top, is threaded to the connector. The bottom half of the nut is for left handed threads.
The petcock has a left handed thread and is screwed into the bottom of the nut.
Does anyone know of a direct replacement for the petcock? I am looking for a metal fuel on/off (shutoff)valve, that has the lefthanded threads, that will screw into the nut on the tank.
I have one in stock its $10.00 _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's, ams (manco) , joyner, parts for almost anything

BigE,
Is the one you have the same as the stock one? I was not really that impressed with the quality of the stock one and was hoping to upgrade, if possible....
its the stock style, You can use the 110 on/off style, same outlet size. or convert over to larger fuel lines and a larger valve. _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's, ams (manco) , joyner, parts for almost anything

I dont know what your access to tools is like, but i used some brazing skills, and some new parts to make my own shut-off system... I removed the petcock, installed a reducing nipple to 1/4, brazed it on, and then ran 1/4 fuel line to a 1/4 shut off from a local lawnmower dealer...
The 1/4 hose adapter was bought at lowes...
Here are the pix....

the adapter to the tank is brazed on, but it did just screw on... Yes, they are two separate peices... I brazed all of the joints to avoid ANY leaks at all, expecially ove the motor, and it gurantees that they will never "back off" under all the vibrations. I took off the gas tank, took the petcock off, cleaned everything out with hot soapy water, and took the tank to lowes to match up the thread... it was a P.I.T.A. at first, but as soon as I found the right adapter to the tank, I found the hose nipple and off I went to play!!!
