Has anyone ever turbo charged a Hammer head SS I have the fabrication and routing figured out? It seems like that would give you some punch on long inlines

Thanks Willys

The problem is finding a turbo small enough and then making it cost effective. It could be done as a one of with a small motorcycle turbo.

Didn't WEST COAST put a turbo on a 250 Joyner? Maybe I'm thinking of somebody else.

A big bore kit would be far more cost effective. And you won't be able to get a lot of boost out of the stock engine without running race fuel as its 10 to 1 compression stock I believe.

I think tom had a turbo kit, but wasnt it like 3-6 grand?

For that money i could put a supercharger on my car and make real boost Laughing

My 250 was only 8.5 to 1, I think 10 to 1 is a little high.

My cf moto hammerhead 250 is 10 to 1 I'm positive I will double chech though.. 8.5 to 1 is poor compression for naturally aspirated. You sure yours is that low?

For the cf moto you are limited to an extent for example the big bore kit won't fit and the mrp cdi won't work on your application either. I will have cf moto hammerhead performance parts available very soon.. Like a week or so depending on factory. The parts will not void your factory warranty. And should have web site up very soon and then I will sponsor this site. All I have right now is hammerhead exhaust kit comes with jets, intake and muffler. On my bros hammerhead we went 54 mph with that and doctor pulley 21 gram sliders and no other changes. I can't say too much yet because I'm not a sponsor yet my hands are tied.
