I have a 150cc Kenroad Raptor. The noise is in the tranny,i think. When you get up to 25-35mph it makes a loud vibrating noise like rrrrrrrrr.Has anyone else had a similiar problem and if so, how can i stop it Question

Check your chain. If it is too loose or tight it will make that noise. It should have about 1/2" of slack.

When you say 1/2 inch of play, do you mean 1/2 inch total play by pushing and pulling on it,or 1/2 inch just pushing on it from a resting state? I also have another question, When my back wheels begin to move, is it normal for the reverse box to wobble a little bit?

When you say tighten the bolts, do you mean all the bolts connected to the reverse gear box and the bracket? If so, I already tightened those bolts and it still seems to wobble the reverse gear box and the shaft that go's into the tranny.Any thing else that could be the problem?
P.S When i got this gokart delivered the box was damaged and my air filter box was broken off because something fell on the box.Could it be possible that the reverse box was bent?

Is there a certain torque that the bolts need to be?
Some of these questions i am asking, probably seem pretty stupid but i am just trying to solve a problem that i am not so familiar with, thanks for being patient!

do you have a manual for the buggy if so then look up if they have to be torqued if not put some lock tight on them and tighten them down

Thanks guys, i will try your advice and let you know how things work out. I really love the buggy, i just wish it would have come with an owners manual or aservice manual.

Just tight is fine. There are no torque specs that you need to worry about. The Gearbox should not wobble but I doubt that something falling on the crate would have caused it. The gearbox is in a fairly protected area when crated.

Chain slack should be no more that 1/2" from its resting position.inward or outward not combined.
