I am still looking for a buggy, but one problem exists in my area. Most of the trails that I have access to have 50" limits. In other words, vehicles are allowed that are 50" wide or LESS. What buggy, if any, is 50" wide or less?

The only other option for us riding a buggy is in our pasture, and that isn't enough to make it worth a purchase. It would get old real quick.

This one is 51.1" wide. Change the rear wheels (different offset) and you are under 50. There are others, and I think most of the 150's would work.

Actually, most of the 150's that I have looked at are wider than 50". The Yerf dogs are approx. 47 w/stock wheels. Not sure with oversized wheels/tires.
According to the website specs, the Crossfire 150R is 54" wide. Now I'm not sure how strict each facility is on the 50" rule, but I don't want to get hung up on a one way trail with a buggy that will not fit through the majority of the trail. Confused

garider, please update your profile with your location, and we can help you find a local dealer close by to help you with your decision...

There are many 150cc buggies that are 50" or less, including 1 seaters, and many popular 2 seaters... I know for a fact, the Crossfire 150R is real close to the 50" mark...

Good luck!

They have a different roll cage available, or you can make your own as I did. (see the avatar)

If a single seat will work, and no reverse is not a problem, this is well under 50". (the trailer is 48" wide) Don't know how you would get it down there though. Make an offer!!

50.51" wide:

If you want, I could go out to the garage and measure mine just to be sure.

garider, give BIGE a call at McDonough Powersports. He is located in Georgia, and should be able to fit you with a buggy that will meets your needs.
I believe before I added the wheel spacers to my Dazon, it was 50inches wide at the front and rear.
Stick with BuggyNews, it will keep you young Wink
