I just wanted to say that yesterday's trip to the Badlands in Attica Indiana was the best for me so far. That was the first time for me being arround other buggies besides my Uncle's (jef_14664). I thought it was a very neat experience to meet Buggynews users in person. I also would like to know who was the one that video taped us climbing up the last hiss in the orange grove trails, I would like to see that video, on Youtube or posted on buggynews if possible.

Also If you guys remember when we thought my left front shock lost it's seal, well all it was was coil bind, and it popped back out. Remember I was the one with the Lance/Collster Charger 150.

Hey bud! That was a great trip. Muddy...but great! I will be posting some pictures of our day. Also, I was the one who took the video of you guys climbing that hill. I will post that later today. Thanks to everyone that came. Sorry I had to leave so early. I was just starting to have a good time and then it was time to leave. Fortunately, The Badlands is only about an hour and 15 away for me. I will be back!

Dag-

How is your sons hand. I heard he broke something?

John

Here's some pics from the Badlands! Frustrating day for awhile! I kept getting water in my filter and killing the engine. I came up with a snorkel system today! I wish I had had it yesterday.

Here's some pics of the snorkel system. It works really well. I actually saw 10,500 rpms with the snorkel on. I have never seen over 9600! I now can go into water over my head. Laughing

Hey Blister did you have to rejet your buggy? I've been thinking about a similar setup for my 250.

No. I have not rejetted. I am currently running the 30mm pumper that Stu from Blade sells. I have never changed the jet. I received it from Stu and installed it and never had a problem yet. I haven't checked the plug yet since I put the snorkel on. I will check it and let you know if it is running lean or rich. I am noticing a little backfiring on decel from a full throttle run. This snorkel system took me about 10 minutes to install. I went to Lowes and bought a 1-1/2" shop vac hose and one hose clamp. I cut the hose to length and threaded on a fitting that came with the kit. The hose kit cost $34. It really works great! I am anxious to find a big, deep mud puddle.

Hunter is ok, he did break his hand in 2 places. I am glade he is ok, but what bad luck. I was really glade to see everyone up until he got hurt. Well next year we need to have another Badlands bash. I am up there at the Badlands about every 2-3 weeks, if anyone else is every going up let me know and we can ride together. My wingman is out of service for 6-8 weeks.

Take care all.

DAG
