I just bought a Blade 110cc for my 9 yr. old. When the kart
is not running and you roll it back and forth you hear grinding
in the drivetrain area. I can't really tell where it is comming
from. It sounds as if it may be a bearing noise. Then again it
sounds like it may be comming from the final drive area. It just
all of the sudden started doing it. The chain is very tight, has
no play, Im thinking that may be the problem. I've been riding
it everyday for about 5 weeks waiting on his birthday to give it
to him. This noise just showed up today. Any suggestions? _________________ Kinroad Sahara 150,chrome intake

I would loosen the chain. I read somewhere you should have about a 1/4 to 1/2" play in the chain. Loosen it some rolled it and see if it helps.
Have you been running rough stuff or smooth? I have a dazon 150cc and my brother said the chain just came off and sure enough he had broke the engine mount. So if you are riding rough stuff check all your bolts and welds.
