Hello Everbody,
This is my first post and actually my first visit. I have been on another forum, but this one seems a lot more active. I have made my buggy and am troubleshooting and putting finishing touches on it. I used a quadracer frame and a rotax engine.

Welcome to buggynews! What size Rotax did you use? Looks awesome. What is it geared for, torque or speed? What is your top speed? What is left to do?

welcome to buggy news, thats a nice set up. where did you get the frame or did you build it?
I have a complete 300cc sport quad I am going to build a buggy with and thats the set up I was thinking of.

I used a 521cc Rotax from a 1991 Formula Plus--called a "type 36". It has 14t in the front and a 42t in the rear. Not sure on top speed, and never figured out with the math--I just used the stock gearing for the quadracer. The take-off was very slow, but cleaned the clutches and got a tighter belt. I assume the hp and torque is above 70, but under 100.
I built the frame myself and their is not much left of the wheeler. I still have a bunch to do. I need to put a kill switch inside, make a smooth hood, 5 point harness, test and tune.
