My joyner got delivered yesterday at about 7:30pm. i was bussy so I had ot finish up some stuff before checking her out.

Sitting in my driveway, it is a lot bigger then one would think. This is NOT some 12yr old's toy-kart. You can tell this is a serious machine that demands respect. My girlfriend and I went around the neighborhood a bit just to try out the buggy.

First off, this thing freaking FLYS!!! The speedo must be broken cause it showed 20-25mph when we were ZOOMING and hair and cheecks were getting blown back.

Second, I can see why or how bigger people may have issues. me at 5'8" and 180lbs am PERFECLT snug in this beast. Bigger people can fit, but be prepared to "get tight".

Third, the thing is AMAZINGLY geared. In High gear it is a bat outta hell. In low gear, it climbs my STEEP driveway with barely any pedal. it's amazing how this thing can climb...simply amazing.

Fourth, I LOVE all the bells and whistles. it is a VERY user friendly / safe vehicle. The lights, horn, brakes, etc make it a lot less scary then one would think. With some work, I can even make it street legal.

Lastly, this is on a more personal note. I am in love with this thing. It is beautiful, powerful, attractive (guy who owns a vintage batmobile in my neighborhood passed me by and complimented ME!!!!!). My girl kept laughing and grabbing the "Oh-Crap" bar and was having a blast. She kept saying how much FUN FUN FUN we are going to have.

Everyone, I can't wait until i get to thrash this and even mroeso become a integral part of this community.

Glad to hear you like your new purchase. I'm pretty much all over any Joyner 250 feedback, I hope to own one soon.

Now at 5' 8" and 180lbs , you feel tight ? This concerns me since I'm 5' 10" and about 240lbs.

No not tight. By snug I feel very nice. Like safe / secure. All I am saying is if you approach OVER 6ft tall, this buggy may start getting tight. Anyone can fit, but at that height and above it becomes "tight". At 5'10" you wont have a problem.

Definetly agree man. My folks werent too happy ( for about the first 5min ). Then my dad climbed in and both wanted to go riding...lol It's funny how that happens right?...lol

I will have photos up later on. We have a Quaker steak about 1mile from house. i plan to attend their car nights on Sundays. this should be "different"...lol

What made m smile hugely was the Batmobile thing. here this guy comes in a VERY expensive collecotrs car and gives me the " Hey nice ride " comment...YAY!!!

I agree on the left leg situation. I think I remember someone saying they wear a kneepad on long rides. I plan on putting an improvised third pedal for my left foot and to protect the brake res. I am 6' and 220lbs. and other than a stiff back, I'm good for 1/2 and hour or so. Being 40 may explain the back. I will probablly raise the seats with some type of suspension and also build a bracket to lower the steering wheel. Make it a little more comfortable for long rides. I really love my,(I mean my daughters), Joyner 250. We should start with some mods soon. I am thinking skis,(snowmobile), and rear wheel tracks maybe for winter. Anyone tried this before??? Technical assistance would save me from too much thought.
Mitch

Yeah Frank they are serious machines. Glad to have you on the Joyner bandwagon. If you've owned any other buggy, you are going to love the fact your tools stay in the box a lot less when you own a Joyner. It's almost sad because you have nothing to do but clean and shine it until your next ride. Congrats!

Greg
