I just found out that a local used bike dealership is now a Joyner dealer. They are also a dealer for ARGO amphibious ATV's.
I do not know anything about them, I just thought that I would put out the information if anyone wanted it.
I did stop by and look at a Sand Spider 650. Now to come up with the $8k to get it.

I did not look at the 250's much I just wanted to see the 650. He had 3- 250's in the place when I stopped there. I do not know if they had the hi/low trans or not. I checked his prices on the 650 spider and they are the exact as the Joyner MSRP so I guess the 250 would be the same. I'm sure you could talk up a deal with him. He seemed motivated to sell.
