had some friends and family out yesterday and we all rode my buggy it was driven pretty hard and for awhile, a few times i did smell a burning smell when they were switching drivers but did not worry with it much. when i went to put it up i noticed that i had to almost floor it and the rpm was rapping out pretty high and it would hardly move, then it started moving and got up to speed and felt normal, but not from takeoff...let it set overnight and got on it this am did not seem to be as bad but was still a little noticeable??? what does that sound like the prob could be?? everyone was doing lots and lots of donuts if that matters???? please help..........

yep sounds like the clutch and or belt. remove the clutch and look at the pads. if there is still some left on it then try and sand them down a little to get the glaze off and scuff up the clutch bell

check for any rubber bits around the ends of the cvt cover... i had the exact same issue a year ago... i thought my buggy could climb large rocks with two people in it... it took some serious abuse, and when i finally got it load it onthe trailer that day, it was soooooo slow and the motor was revving... i toasted the belt and blued the clutch drum... I later replaced the clutch and drum with the Dr. Pulley kit, but before that, I just used some sand paper, scuffed the pads and inner clutch bell and got a new powerlinx belt from KIDNME... since then, my buggy has been amazing... The new clutch and all were amazing... what a cool mod to do and really feel a difference in power transfer...
