Okay I said I had it down to 2, but now that I'm only looking at a 250cc or 300cc buggy there are a couple more to add.
Just looking for opinions. I have to do as much research as possible since I will be buying something without a test drive or seeing it in person. Here's the list:

Joyner 250
Carter GTR300
HH Twister 250
Phoenix 300

If you were to purchase one right now, which one and why ?

The important things for me are:
Reliability
Parts availability
Handling
Speed
Mods
Price

Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post your opinions.

I have just sold my offshore powerboat, have 2 quads and a dirtbike in the garage, 3 snowmobiles and I've become obsessed with these mini buggies !

go with the phoenix 300. better suspension in the front than the rest and less weight than the joyner. also, dave will do what he can for you.

if you plan on having one drop shipped then you can take off Carter and Twister.

This is true.....then that leaves the Joyner or the Kinroad 300. Both can be dropped however the Joyner can be sent completely assembled. Simply uncrate and turn the key and GO.

These are the things that concern you. For the Joyner and Kinroad 300

Reliability ---unknown for the Kinroad as it is only 3 weeks on the market. The Joyner is tried and true. All the bugs have been worked out.

Parts availability----Kinroad should have an ample supply of the parts for the 300. Parts for Joyner is not a problem. Nextday service on all parts is available.

Handling---Since they are similar in design they SHOULD handle in a similar fashion. The Kinroad is wider in stance.

Speed----Kinroad-45mph, Joyner 40-45 mph

Mods---Nothing at this time for the Kinroad. Plenty for the Joyner.

Price---Similarly priced depending on what dealer you choose to buy through.

Glade

I agree with Glade, the kinroad is just to new for me to feel real comfortable with. ( I know, someone has to be the first ) but between the joyner and the kinroad, I would go joyner.

If I make a purchase this season, it will be used. That being said I think the Joyner 250 would be the choice. I actually have found one somewhat close (only a state in a half away) and the price seems reasonable. I'd love to pull the trigger on that one this week, I'm on a week long vacation at our cabin next week and I'd be able to get some good time on it.
If I end up waiting til next spring , it will be a new purchase. After doing some researching, I've found a local Joyner, Carter dealer, they don't have anything in stock. A Hammerhead dealer near by cabin, they have some carts stock. The only one that has nothing nearby is the Phoenix 300. If I wait that long, hopefully there will be some decent feed back on these.
