Just here to say Howdy! Getting much further into the buggy business than I expected, but so far havin' fun!
A little history about us..
My name is Kyle, My wife is Carleen, User name DirtTrackKartRacin'.
We have been in the marine business for about 15 years. Still are. We have scaled back from selling new boats & motors to just service. Didnt need the headache of floorplans any more so...
This past Christmas we got my grandson a yerfdog pup, 2.5hp. Since that time, we have turned our 13 acres of commercial property into 5 different tracks. Became a Carter Dealer. Ordered a truckload of karts & we arent looking back. For the first time in a long time, we're having fun. (but just for the record, if this dont work, I'm blaming him but its ok, he can take it, he's gonna be five real soon).....
We are all about family recreation, not hardcore racing.
We are getting our website up......slowly..Ok I am too cheap to pay someone to do it so its on my to do list...
Here's hoping we get to know some of ya! _________________ Carter Kart Dealer, Track Owner/Operator,

I too was a marine/watersports individual. I traded in my 14 yrs of professional sking and wakeboarding, sold the boat, and bought a buggy, quad and a trailer. Although I still go to the lake quite often, the buggy is my number 1 sport now. Im sure you will enjoy the change also.
Congradulations on the new business, look forward to working with you sometime soon.
Can others come play on your tracks? _________________ Baja Dune 150

Absolutley! Thats what we are hoping for. Memberships from daily to yearly, of course all the legal mumbo jumbo paperwork, but yes, definately.
Thats what I see missing in this industry, places to get together & ride/race.
I am not sure how much info I can give without being accused of advertising & I dont want to abuse a good thing, so I will withhold any further unless you want to pm me & I can give you all the scoop.
Moderator, maybe a heads up?
Thanks,

It sounds like you've got yourself a good idea there.
You should talk to Tom over at KidNMe Karts (He's KidNMe on here). There are several of us that are trying to grow this sport/hobby (Okay, I know it's an obsession...). The MBRA (Mini Buggy Riding Association is just starting and has a lot of the fundamental stuff that you spoke of in your introduction.
Again, it's just starting but it may be worth a look. And if it doesn't work out well, you can still blame the kid. That's what we have them for.
Again, welcome. _________________ Chris Dierkens
