I swapped on my new 8 pole stator, after i realized (was never told) that i already HAD an 8 pole stator (the OEM one will be up for sale soon) but i switched it anyways, and after frying my electrical box 3 times, fixed all the wires, and zip tied the box (mount broke) to the frame (coverless for now). I took off the rear shocks, greased the bushings and reinstalled, greased all the grease fittings, cleaned teh uni filter (need some uni oil, K&N doesnt apply to the foam to well) and i also smoothened out my eastside exhaust header with a bigger inlet port leaving the head.

So....

It runs, it bogs and crackles more than a mustang cobra with an offroad X pipe, it stalls alot, i have NO Lights or speedometer (im guessing fuse, will have to check) and i rewired my bottom GT signature lights (for the third time) but now i need a relay as it will heat up really fast.

So im thinking....

I will probably have to rejet and lean the A/F alittle, fix my electricals for the 40th time, decide if i want the CVT cover back on, put the electrical box back on and re-zip tie, fenders and blah blah blah.

Atleast it runs though, only thing i really notice is just if you are cruising at a low RPM and go WOT, it takes a second then it REALLY knocks your forward. I am considering a gear swap to a torque gear since i want more wheel spin and i dont have any room for top speed anyways.

Ill have video's up later

How often do you actually get to ride that beast? Seems like it is always broke down. Please tell me you are not running the UNI without oil. If you can't find UNI oil locally look for PJ-1 foam filter oil. It works great and you can get a big can that will oil the filter many times for about $6-$7. Any motorcycle dealer should have it and many hardware stores carry it as well.

I wouldn't run it without the CVT cover as I believe on the 150's the cover adds some structural support. I seem to remember an old post from someone running without the cover and the case cracked. I'll try to find it.

Switches are fine, where exactly is the voltage regulator? Could that not work but yet i'd still be able to start and drive?

the regulator is a small box with fines on it that is around or near the electrical box. it is what regulates voltage to the lights, battery and stuff.

Here's the thread I was referring to earlier. Read Mudbugs posts in it. His Blade 150's case cracked while running it without the cover. Of course it may have cracked even with the cover on but I'd say with the abuse that many of these buggys take any additional support provided by the cover is welcome.
