im looking into getting a 150 for the summer, and i live on a 25%-35% grade mountain in vermont, will it work?

the 150 do pretty good if you change the rollers, clutch springs and main spring. I have a twister 150, a blade 250 and a carter xp 150. the 250 does better on hills right out of the box.

the 150's do very well with the cvt changes

the kit is $89.00. comes with both halves of the variator, new pin, yellow clutch springs, yellow main spring and 9 or 10 gram rollers

If you live in the mountains, you'll probably be pretty disappointed with climbing ability out of the box... but as BigE said... a few simple CVT changes make a WORLD of difference.

If you have some steep climbs... I'd suggest a larger rear axel sprocket as well. Made a huge difference for my 150 Talon. Went from a stock 32 tooth to 39 tooth... and it's fairly simple to do. Went from slug to mountain goat. (be careful taking off the bearings when you're removing the axel).
