Last week my kart decided it never wanted to shut off. I turn the key off and even take the key out and it continues to run! All the accessories shut off, but not the kart. I have to use the cut off switch to shut it off now. Any suggestions? All the wires to the ignition switch look like they are in place. I did not track the wires back to the circuit box over the engine. This is a JEHM 150cc America Blazer kart. Anyone else have this issue? _________________ --

I have had a similar problem on mine. _________________ Chris Dierkens

At first, my Talon 150 would shut off immediately when I turned the key off... but it was idling really badly. Then I got the air/fuel mixture right, got it to idle and run perfectly, now it stays running when I turn off the key and I have to use the kill switch like you do. I just figured it's supposed to do that, otherwise they wouldn't have made that kill switch! In fact, it seems to run a little higher RPM's when I turn off the key (and sputter a bit). But as long as it's running smoothe when I hit the gas when the key is on... I'm not gonna question it.
Unless one of the experts here think it will ruin my engine or something... then I'll have to fix it. _________________ 05' Carter Talon GSX 150 2R
