I wanted to bring this up to the buggynews community, this is valuble information for someone looking to get into the mini buggy hobby and trying to start with an affordable one. In July of 2007 I purchased my first buggy, a 2007 Baja Motorsports Blaster 6.5 go kart. The kart cost $1,100 with tax. The engine is a 6.5hp pull start with a torque converter. It has only one single rear disk brake on the rear axle. The kart was very nice at first but after the 3rd day of moderate riding, the torque converter belt went out. If only I knew there was more to come! To makemy story short, I went through at least 14 torque converter belts in 10 months had a broken shock mount weld, the right rear shaft mount broke, the left rear tire started to go flat every 4 days, and the right rear tire stripped out leaving me with one wheel drive until I got it welded on. Alll the other things that broke were welded. It was like fixing a boat that doesn't stop sinking. Finally I said nough is enough!!! I got it sold for only $600. I have a Lance Charger 150 Single seat buggy now and havn't had a single problem with it.
