There was little that was right with my machine. When all was said and done, I spent about $800 in parts & labor, but taking it for a ride after 2 years of looking at it in the garage WAS WORTH EVERY DIME!
In the end, a loose timing chain that jumped a notch on the gear caused major malfunctions of the worst kind. You name it, it went bad. Read some of my prior posts for all the gory details and attempts at resurrection. A local shop (Hammerhead dealer) opened up down the road, and the guys at "Playing in the Dirt" (Will & Michael) finally got me rolling again.
Many thanks to all who lent a hand in her salvation! Steve, Stu, Dano, Will, Michael & all who aided with advice or just a dash of hope! Hard to believe the first Buggy Bash I'll really get to participate in as more than a mere spectator will be #4!
HOPE TO SEE Y'ALL SOON!!! _________________
