Well i like the buggy but it does seem a little low on torqe for an 800cc.Also the video didnt realy show how well the shocks worked i mean no jumps or powersliding to be seen in the video.Maybe if you got someone who wouldnt baby it too drive it then you may have a video that would sell the buggy.Just my opinon

I'm probably going to make some enemies here, but I thougth the video looked as good as the RidgeRunner videos I have seen. Remember the RR costs about 17K and goes up from there. I also think it is very over priced.
Now on the other subject...... Shame on MotoUS for being RUDE.
I wasn't impressed with the RR either. It never showed me anything a modded 250 cannot do. I remember there being a grassy hill climb in that video that a kids electric car from Wal Mart could climb as fast. My stock 250 video is climbing a much steeper hill. I (and I am thinking others here as well) would not have normally been so flagrant with our words if it were not for the blatant attack and rudeness of Moto to begin with. Not just this post. _________________

In watching the video, the suspension appears to be very soft. I'm sure that gives a smooth ride, but I'm thinking of one of the Peirspeed videos I saw here where the guy was getting good air, at a good speed, time after time. The suspension on one of these is a bit stiff, but can handle jumping. My Peirspeed, with 22 inch rear tires, goes 46 mph, and gets there spinning it's tires, and climbs like all get out! I don't understand the comment "you will need to go over 23 mph". MOTOUS, you are coming off as arrogant. I would love to see you succeed, but right now you guys leave a bad taste in many people's mouths. Take it from a fellow Minnesotan, follow Stu from Blade's lead; be a decent company, back up your products, don't trample on people, and deliver the goods. A good reputation, and a profitable and long lived company will result. Just my .02, Carl _________________ PEIRSPEED 252, DUNE 150. HAD SAHARA 150 & 2004 KASEA. PLEASE DON'T TELL MY WIFE!!

Carl you are right. I am not that kind of person that slams people and gets upset with what others say. So in other words I was out of line. I want to say I'm sorry to all that I have offended in my comments and posts. I know what we have for a buggy and stand behind it whole heartedly. We like to hear what everyone is looking for out of a buggy good and bad. I was a kid once too and I sketched out designs for buggies when I was not even old enough to drive one. Everyone has their own unique idea of what an ideal buggy should be. We are doing are best to build it. The one thing that I am guilty of is opening my mouth and not biting my tongue when negative comments are posted. So again I apologize for what I have said in the past and now see that negative posts will only help us to build a better built buggy in the future. _________________ from the DESK of the

The perspective of the video doesn't really do the hill justice. I'm sure your electric Walmart cart could make it up the same hill when it's being dragged up it, upside down and sideways by an RR. And of course your stock 250 is, I'm sure, much faster than the RR. Blah, blah, blah. If you had ever driven an RR or even seen one in person, your opinion might count for something. Otherwise it's worth less than your Walmart cart.
And yes, I know the RR is expensive. As I'm sure some of you know, (and apparently some of you don't), speed and performance require an exponential increase in cost. The faster you want to go, the better you want it to handle, the more the price curve increases. This is nothing new.
Finally, anyone that has tried to shoot some video knows that it just doesn't accurately depict what is really going on. The video Motus had here looks pretty well done, much nicer than the stuff I have posted. He should have avoided mentioning the 650 turbo, or at least worded it better, but man, you guys hammered him a little excessively. _________________ Diirk
