i have noticed the rear ground clearance of my buggy to be a big problem so i want to get some bigger rear tires..preferable 22x11-8 because i dont want to get new rims...i ride mainly on dirt..some mud and quite a bit of hill climbing. what tires would you reccommend for my situation? my stockers are 19x9.5-8. also looking for something pretty cost efficient.

also, would i need to do any regearing?..i already have quite a bit of torque from the clutch mods.

Get the double-roller 37t or single-roller 39t axle sprocket to compensate for the 22" tall tires and you will be fine.

I have Cheng Shin C-828 (similar to what we called "Woolly boogers back in the day) on the back of mine and am very happy with them. ITP Mudlites are also a good choice and have plenty of fans around here.

Im thinking about first buying the tires then seeing if i need to regear because it is very torqy as is. BIGE, which type of kendas are you talking about and what is the price of those compared to the mudlights?

My mudlites were $130 for the pair, shipped. Also, you may want to measure the true height of your 19's. Some have found that the stock tires don't truly measure up to their listed size. For example, the stock 22's on my HH250 were only 20.5 inches tall inflated. The 23's I put on gave me another inch & half of clearance. Just sumthin to think about.

they grip pretty good on trails also, they do ride a tad ruff but not to bad. I just like the kendas, I never had a problem with them on any terrian. they have good floatation also
