Translation:
I have an 800 Sand viper and do not know what is wrong with it. I must have a bad connection somewhere and I can't seem to locate it. Here's what it does. When you turn the switch on , all the dash lights come on as well as the headlights (I am guessing this is what it says here).
Solution: Turn off the light switch.

I checked all the fuses and relays and they seemed okay so I then ran a wire direct from the battery to the fuel pump ( I do not know what this has to do with the lights coming on but assume he also had a fuel issue on an EFI unit). It started right up and ran great so I took it out again for the fifth time and for the fifth time , I had to be towed back. I expect I have a bad short somewhere and cannot find it.

(Guessing again here.....) Also when I ran the wire directly to the fuel pump, the fan also came on. I thought I was good to go. We were hauling butt and I hit a small jump at about 45mph. when we landed the thing shut off. So now when I turn the "toug ???" switch on, the fuel pump works but the fan does not. Also, everything else works. ( I thought you ran a wire direct to the battery, so now your saying with the direct wire removed, this is what happens?)

I do know that it is something to do with the fan and the fuel pump. Perhaps they work on the same circuit? I need help with this thing as I'm getting real tired of it. It's like when you go riding with your buddies and one of them always has a problem because his ride is a piece of junk. Well, now I'm that guy. I never had a problem until I bought a Joyner.

Jonathanp: In order for anyone to help you you must be more clear on what the problem is. Also, if you use proper English and punctuations, we might also be able to read and understand what you are trying to convey. I'm not trying to be a dick, but honestly, I have no idea what the heck you just wrote.

It sounds like going to the Joyner site and downloading the service manual to get the wiring diagram will be a good place to start.

Sorry I can't be of more help, but we seem to have a communications gap.

Regards,
Mick

I have to agree with mick its hard to under stand what the problem is. That being said I have rewired about half of my buggy now and still occasionally have a problem with the electrical (the other half). Get a diagram and start rewiring the circuts that are bad. On these buggies the wiring is pretty simple and it is usually a bad connector or something, but the wiring leaves alot to be desired so just replace as you go until you get it to run like you want or until you replace it all. At which point you will know wiring is not your problem. Van

I don't think we have to be so hard on JonathonP. But I do feel if someone cannot take the time to communicate his problem with some comprehensive effort, why should others return their efforts in kind.

BTW: English is the second language I learned. Does anyone have trouble understanding me?

Česky byl můj první jazyk.

English was my second language.

Deutsch war meine dritte Sprache.

The only Spanish I learned was from Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator. Good thing Google has a translator.
