After putting in too many hours and busted knuckles to count, I loaded up the buggy and went out riding on saturday. Had a blast for about an hour and a half, then one of my concerns about these buggies happened. I was going around a turn(not too overly fast) and the back tire caught a rut and tipped me over. As a reflex action, I put my arm out to stop myself, and the thought had just entered my head to pull it back in, when SNAP. Broke my wrist cleanly and very evidently. My hand was pointing one way, and my arm the other. I am now out of commission for at least two months. Buggy is fine, and when I got home from the hospital that day, there was a box full of cvt upgrades sitting there mocking me.

I didn't get the net that comes with the buggy when I bought it. I will not ride without one now though. Luckily I had a helmet on, and was harnessed in. Anyone have a net they wanna sell?

Any of you coming down to GA this weekend, that want to borrow a single seater, let me know. I hate to let it sit here all lonely this weekend.

That sucks man. I tipped mine over in a mudhole last weekend and my 7 year old stuck his arm out. Luckily we were in the mud so his arm just sunk in the mud. It got me thinking about getting nets or wrists restraints.

Ouch! Sorry to hear that. I did the same thing, but ended up with a 2 1/2" gash that started between my pinky and ring finger and took 17 stitches to clean up. When I put my hand out, the roll bar landed on it and one of those outside bolts ripped my hand open. My wrist swelled up like a mother and I thought for sure it was broken, but it turned out to be a bad sprain. Anyway, that put me out of commission for a couple months by the time you factor in physical therapy.

Sorry to hear of your injury. We have a member here (Caldep) who (about a year ago) rolled his buggy over in a pond, broke his arm, and almost drowned! Poor guy, I think that took away alot of his excitment for our sport. We don't hear much from him anymore.
Hang in there and give it time to heal, and next time "DON'T LET GO OF THE WHEEL"!!! Twisted Evil

Hey Eric...what do the nets run? I'd hate for my 6 yr. old to put her arm out in a roll over. I did it on my yerf too...
