Here's how novice I am: I don't even know what the thing is called, but I bought a go-cart (Carbide - I think it has a gy6 engine) from Tractor Supply for my kids and they've already broken the transmission. The tranmission just takes it from forward to reverse, via two cables, but there is a little (plastic!!) wheel that connects the cables to the transmission, and it cracked and no longer turns the transmission. Any idea where I can get a replacement thing-a-ma-bob?
Contact Eric at McDonough Powersports. His company banner is smeared across the top of the pages. Or PM him. He goes by BIGE. He probably has a whole box of thing a ma gigs. _________________ JEHM 150, Joyner 250, Roketa 800
I'm not sure if it's a hobby or a job!!!
I have one of those ASW buggies, it's very close to a Twister Hammerhead GT200 in many respects.
Case in point, here's a link to the Twister Hammerhead parts supplier, with the exact part you need (accurately labeled a Manco part, as the GT200 uses a spring loaded mechanism):
