I have taken the clutch apart to replace the springs and rollers. I noticed that the arms were very ruff when trying to swing them out. I have taken them off and cleaned them. There were even some burrs on the pivot points besides all of the dust. There are 3 small round rubber pads that get exposed when the arms swings out. Should those pads be glued into place? Should I put any lube on the pivot points for the arms or leave them dry?

I dont put any lube at all in that area. even the graphite powder will get on the pads and it will slip. as far as the rubber stops go, I just put them back in place, slide the arm down on them.

Thanks again. I don't know how far the arms extend so I was afraid that they rubber pieces might come off. It looked like one of mine was being held on by rust and the others 2 are stuck, probably by rust but I wasn't sure.
