It enhances the bulbs brightness, by reflecting light in all directions. You have to make a custom reservior for the fluid, with plumbing to and from the headlights. I used an oil cooler setup to keep mine from boiling! Rolling Eyes

I didn't think of that. I used a series of peltier heat exchangers to control temperature. The faster the buggy runs the better the exchangers work...

If you lived closer, I'd let you borrow my wire stretchers. It's a must have tool in your box. On second thought, I probably would never get them back...

thats true , it is one more thing to keep up with... like we don't have enought to keep up with already. Here it is, the middle of summer and I haven't changed the winter air out in the tires yet

Air? I've been running helium in the tires to make my buggy lighter. Now I plan to replace it with pure hydrogen by setting up my own electrolisis jar so I can add and remove pressure on the fly. When I air down the tires, it will dump hydrogen into the carb intake...

There's an equilibrium number that allows to to float across terrain instead of using the tires for cushion. If you go higher than this number, you get no traction. If you go less, the ride is too hard. The best way is to get to this number is put a bathroom scale under each corner and try to adjust the weight between 2-10 lbs. with you in the buggy.

You really need to go the hydrogen route. I figured out that at 5000 RPM you can generate enough hydrogen with the electrolysis jar to attach a welding hose. I just need to but a center stand on the buggy and a throttle lock. Pop the buggy up on the stand, run the engine up to 5K, set the cable lock and crack open the valve. The hydrogen will melt any mixture or thickness of metals on your buggy, but it takes a while to get used to not seeing a flame.
