canopy top for talon gsx 150

am trying to find a canopy top for my carter talon gsx 150. carter says they dont make a canopy top for this model. anyone out there know of an aftermarket top to fit? Question

My sister has an industrial sewing machine and she can make just about anything. You can buy black canvas and have it sewn to the exact fit.

You could try buying one for the HH150 and maybe making a few alterations, if needed. Go do reliablegokarts.com and check out their online parts. You can find 3-4 different canopies for the Hammerhead buggies. They're about $80, though. Shocked

Making your own is really simple... I have the same model Carter. At first I used a cheap plastic but it ripped, switched to black canvas, added metal grommets so it wouldn't rip, and just used black zip-ties in a few spots attached right to the rollcage.

I later removed them to fix a few twisted grommets but never put it on again. I did, however, cut up an old black crazy carpet plastic sled and wrapped it around the bottom front end to keep out water a little better when flying through puddles... zip tied and it works awesome. Looks really nice too...

A canopy top can be nice for those hot, sunny days! I had a really nice one made for about $20 at a tarp shop (that makes tarps for trailers, tents, ect.). I just took the measurements, told them a basic idea of what I wanted and showed them a picture and they made me a really nice canvas one with velcro straps, so it is easily removable, just out of scrap material they had around the shop.
