I don't know where to buy just the wire if its the stock wire just replace it with a HO coil in stock . I had tried to replace the boot on some stock wires and the wires usually were found to be bad. TOM

Undo the coil and take the whole assembly off. There should be a little rubber boot on the end where it goes on to the spark plug. If you look down inside the end you will see a little brass-like assembly.

Look closely at the brass assembly you will see there is a little piece of wire that has tension on it. This is what holds the plug in place.

If the wire is gone, then you need a new spark plug wire/coil assembly. If the wire is still in there then take a dental pick and bend it so it will fit tighter when the plug is inserted.

Glade
