I live in Northern Virginia, and places to ride are not so easy to find so far. Perhaps someone could help?

Anyway, one place I was thinking about trying was The Cove campground and ATV park.

The ATV side: http://www.motocove.com
The Camping side: http://www.covecampground.com

Just wondering if anyone had ridden The Cove at all or recently? It looks like a decent place to camp out and ride which is fairly close to where I live.

I'm in Fredericksburg. I'm gonna plan a trip there. I'll let you know.

Great news, this post has been in here for quite a while with no replies.

I assume you're just going to bring up your kart / buggy and give it a try, right? I emailed them once a while ago asking about it, but they never got back to me.

I'm south of Warrenton, near Remington, close to the intersection of Rt. 28 and 29.

We're headed up to PA next weekend for the NEBA buggy bash, it'll be our first big trail ride. The Cove would be pretty close if we could ride there too.

Thanks, looking forward to hearing how things work out.

What's going on in PA? Where can I get some info about that? I checked the NEBA website, and there are no events listed for August.

Check out the "Northeast Region Buggy Bash 2008" thread right above the "Places to Ride" main section right here on BN.

Now I admit, it mostly points to the NEBA forum, but you can join that just for asking. PM John (RaceMyBuick is his board name) and he'll give you all kinds of info.

Very inclusive group, no doubt you would be very welcome to attend.

The get-together is about 180 miles for me up Rt. 15, about 205 up Rt. 81 to give you some idea how far a haul it is.

Read the "HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT" post in:

http://www.buggynews.com/northeast-regional-buggy-bash-2008-vf52.html

PM John (the poster of that message) or ask to join the NEBA forum at northeastbuggy.com, I'm sure you'll have little trouble getting more info after that.

The NEBA group is getting together next weekend in PA for multiple organized Saturday trail rides, and group hanging-out. Sunday looks to be less organized, but people can still ride the park on your own I expect. It'll be the first time I go riding with them also.

And no, I do not know why they haven't updated their web page, but I have given you the right people to contact and place to go for more information.

Just checking back in, did you ever take your buggy out to The Cove? If so, any issues?

Let me know if you had any trouble getting on the NEBA site, I help run it now and can make sure you get an account activated quickly if you wanted it.
