| < Modifications - Mini Off Road Kart ~ How about front/rear shocks for the HH250? |

The rear shocks in this buggy are not too bad at all. The fronts need some serious work. Will the yamaha 450's work on the 250 like on the 150? Any serious modifications involved? Oh yea, speaking of suspension mods......this is a long shot here, BUT, is there a kit for a long travel for the front? I can't imagine fabbing something like that. _________________ 2006 HH250

I had a problem with my front shocks as well banging on large bumps.
Asked my dealer if he had a alternative shock to the "crappy stock ones"
He said i was the first to complain about them everyone loves them i was suprised.
So he asked me how i had mine set i told him the softest setting he said tighten them up a couple notches thats where he runs his and doesnt bang much at all.
So i did so and its a huge difference im still not sold on those factory shocks yet but it did help hugely and i have not been out riding much this week to give an honest opinion either way.
But yes it did help.
So put a vice grip on it and crank it up to mid way if it isnt all ready. Mines 1 stiffer then mid as im experamenting atm.
Hope it helps, let me know.

no one make a long travel kit for any of these buggys although i saw a guy that had fabed one up for sale on cl in my 6 month quest for a buggy
that would be really cool but if you wanted somthing like that you would have to make it and it would be soo cool _________________ 06 joyner 250 sand viper, red metallic..blue clutch spring 17 gram sliders and upgraded clutch

Well, the shocks are at their stiffest. I guess my real problem is the travel. It is amazing the capabilities of this buggy, and I am really surprised I havn't busted this thing! _________________ 2006 HH250
