Was out with the 250xt yesterday when all of a sudden it just lost power and started to make a "bogging down" noise. I really cant describe the noise but all power was lost yet the engine was still running. It was a hot day so I figured it was overheating. I opened the coolant cap and there was nothing at all. I put a little coolant in and tried again but the same thing happens. When it loses power, the engine cuts out when the kart comes to a complete stop and will only start after about 5 minutes. I do have a uni filter and I believe a 125 jet, but I could be wrong. All help is greatly appreciated. _________________ Go To 250XT.com

The temp was about 170 which seemed normal but I would not trust the gauge. There is no way to tell if coolant was in the radiator, the only way to get to any coolant is the fill cap. _________________ Go To 250XT.com

You have to burp the system if it was bone dry and you added more coolant, let the air bubbles run out. _________________ '04 Manco 906c
