do you both have the stroker crank? is it the sheng E crank?
I am so confused with what someone told be... They stated that if i put in a stroker crank, i have to have a spacer put inbetween the head and jug... I thought, that cant be right, begause, if I deck the head, it is virtually the same thing! right???
I have a Sheng E crank in the box, and I am waiting till I abuse the DOOM 150 a little too much and it smokes up... Then i can do a piston/jug swap and while Im at it, i'll split the cases and drop in that crank... but I dont ahve any spare parts like spacers or big @$$ head gaskets for clearance... What do you guys thing???
As far as speed... I think I am hitting upwards of 44-45 on a straightaway... maybe 47 on a downhill... Not too sure though... FEELS FAST!!! lol
Using my phone gps I clocked My dazon 150 going up hill at about 22 mph and downhill at about 30.8. Mostly stock. The only mods to the engine and cvt is a Uni filter intake.
Now the engine doesn't sound like it is reaching full revs @ max speed. Is this bc of when the clutch is engaging and then spinning the cvt. Or is it that the pulleys in the box are geared so tall I just haven't been on a straight enough road to find out what the top end is.
I can climb about anything in this buggy. I prob need to count my sprocket teeth and see what my ratio is. Is there a good web site that will give you a final output speed if you input your drive and shaft sprocket counts?
