This place was so good that I feel guilty posting about it, like I am going to let the cat out of the bag. First, the people we rode with were great. I could not have hoped to meet nicer people. I met Raland at DP last winter, he was the guide for the weekend and brought his family on sunday. BIGE was there, Rockrunner was there with his family and David was there with his family, so we had a good group. David and his wife were kind enough to invite everyone to their home on Signal Mtn for a barbeque after riding on saturday. There were 5-6 buggies,2 motorcycles, and 1-2 ATVs depending on what everyone wanted to ride at the time.
The riding was fantastic. Starting with a 12 mile gravel road with perfect buggy sized trails off both sides. We started with the mellower trails where we got good speed. Then we crossed the road to steeper, rockier and muddier trails. Some sections resembled climbing a giant set of rock stairs. There were creek crossings, mud holes( one deep enough that water came up into my Sand Spiders Seats), Steep rocky decents with shelves to drop off and steep rock strewn climbs to work your way up. This was the best buggy trip I have been on and my son agrees( he was hooping and hollering about how much fun it was)
I want to say THANKS to everyone who was there because my son and I had a great time.
Clint

Sorry that I omitted the location. Like I said, it was so good I feel guilty about telling everyone just incase those that showed me diden't want the word to get out. Anyway its just north of the Arctic circle in western Canada. Only kidding its west and I guess slightly north of Chattanooga TN. 30 minute From downtown Chattanooga, but a lifetime away. Prentice Cooper WMA.
Worth the trip. I spent $180.00 just in gas this weekend, and don't even care because my son had such a good time riding and making new friends. By the end of the first day they were thick as thieves.

Looks like you could be here in less than 3 hours from Jemison, Alabama. Let me know if you decide to head this way, I will gladly meet you and show you the way.

Oh, and right outside Ft. Payne, that is nice to ride also, not as big as Prentice Cooper, but 2 river crossings. Also free.
