I have a cobra 252 go-cart, and while riding the muffler broke off if it. I was going to build a new exhaust for it. A couple questions though. What is the exhaust pipe size of the cart? Would it hurt the performance to put like the smallest cherrybomb glasspack on it? I think the smallest size is 1 3/4" inlet diameter. I don't want to kill the bottom-end power of the cart. I just wanted to build something custom myself. Does anyone know of any mufflers I could get at say autozone, or advance auto parts that would sound good, and not hurt the performance? What about just like a straight pipe? Would that hurt the performance? Thanks for any help.
