Isn't the SX the single seater and the DX the double seater?

oh.
That makes a lot of sense.
Yeah, I when I go to bladepowersports.com and look at the 150SX they only give the DX specs, but the SX pictures show a single seater and the DX pictures show a double seater.
Thanks!

Ok, I think i'm going to go with the Blade 150SX.
It seems to be of great quality and well put together kart.
The only question I have now is... How much would I benefit from putting extra rollers in the CVT?
I would like my kart to AT Least go 30-35 mph. Howver, I plan on going up and down hills with a pretty good sized slope(not extreme, but not gentle rolling hills)
Would I get better low end speed by just upgradeing the CVT? (I was thinking about starting with 9gram)or will I have to do more???

the single seater does pretty good on speed stock, I would put in 10 gram, yellow main and yellow clutch springs for more low end _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's, ams (manco) , joyner, parts for almost anything

Ok, Well I'm not too familiar with upgrading the CVT but I think I can fiigure it out. I was just wondering if there what the relationship between the springs and the weight of the rollers were. In general, what happens when you add more heavier rollers? Lighter rollers? I am guessing that light rollers mean more low end torque?

It works off centrifugal force. The lighter the rollers, the faster it has to spin to move the belt along the variator. Same for the springs, the stiffer they are, the faster it has to spin to force the variator halves to move or the clutch to engage. Lighter rollers and stiffer springs increase your stall speed, so basically you turn more rpms off the line. While this helps acceleration, it can cost you a little speed. For speed, you'd want heavier rollers and weaker springs. However, that can cause weak accelleration or a lag off the line.
Tools that came in handy for me, an air wrench and vice, Other than that, you just need the normal stuff, sockets, pliars, screw driver...12 pack of beer.

Well that's good to know.
But considering i'm only 15, I'm not sure the alcohol would be good for karting.
Thanks for the other help though!
