Ok so I'm new to the buggy world have been doing alot of research online. I want to know what's the best buggy I can get for about 6k. Also I'm tall and would like to fit in the buggy as comfortabley as possible as well as be a two seater.
Also at AB powersports there showing a 300cc buggy yellow. Does anybody know or own one of these buggies, how is it.
I've been looking at Joyner's and many many others please help!
Does anyone know where I could get a used Joyner 650cc

I live in IL just outside Chicago so, Wisconsin riding and hard packed dirt and hills, also some sand dunes in Wisconsin, I live on a farm with acerage..... I would like the buggy to be road legal if possible, but it not that's ok too.
If you ride ATV trails, some have width restrictions. If you do not have these worries, look for long travel buggies (like Joyner). I have 150cc and 650cc buggies. The 650 is a little tight on ATV trails, but does fine on 4x4 trails that do not have deep water crossings or ruts. It does fine on open trails and sand, but there are some guys that want more than 55+ this buggy will do. My 150 is geared down to allow hill climbing and sand. It does these well at the expense of top speed and is limited to the low 30's. With this small engine, you get good speed or torque at the expense of the other.
There are a few IL and MI buggy owners on this site that will be able to lead to local resources and even my let you check out their rides and show you the pros of cons of various designs. _________________ 08 Joyner SViper 250

I agree with Peter, check the width limits on trails you would be riding. I dont think that the 300 from AB is out yet. Cater makes a 300cc buggy as well, but again it is wide.
do you want speed or low end. _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's Atv's, parts and repairs. accessories for all makes.

I'd like an even mix of low end but will do 55 on flat terrain.
I'd really like to know where I could go to see or sit in one of these buggies.... near Chicago IL
go to the Blade and carter and hammerhead web sights and use the dealer locator. that way you can find one close _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's Atv's, parts and repairs. accessories for all makes.

Hey Pete how fast does that 650 go? Chrsaaron Were you looking at the Phoenix because it is long travel or because it fits your buget? I also was interested in that Phoenix, because the bashing video looks very similar to where I ride. But the truth of the matter is it's not out ,so it's not proven. I just bought a used 250 Joyner, and right now I can only get 39mph in a 1/4 mile stretch, BUT This thing is solid and strong, if I choose not to baby it that's ok. I'm confident that where ever I take it it'll bring me back that's worth a coulple of bucks for sure. Good luck

My Joyner 650 with the Joyner low restriction intake and exhaust kit will do an indicated 60 mph on the road and 50 mph on soft sand, but I do not know how accurate the speedometer really is.Team Farm has the Fast Freddie Webber carburetor and modified exhaust - He was pulling away from me on the sand with two people in the buggy while I was alone in mine. _________________ 08 Joyner SViper 250
