I've been having trouble with the carb on my hh250ss. I recently put a 135 main jet and a redneck UNI system.

1st question: It seems to be the choke system but when the buggy is cold it will not idle and it backfires through the carb, after it is warmed-up it will idle fine without backfiring, and runs great! Has anyone else experienced this and is there a corrective messure?

2nd question: Does anyone make a manual choke system for these carbs that have the electronic chokes or do you have to change the entire carb?

Thanks

BIGE has a manual choke that works on the 150 carbs. I bet it will work on the 250 carbs too.

I have some parts on order that I hope will fit the 250, when they come in I will try them on mine. you might can remove the choke from the housing and measure the length, then hook 12 volts to it for about 10-12 minutes the measure it again.
