It's about finished just need to paint a few more things and add one more HID light. also need to upgrade the brakes.

specs are 49T/10T sprockets, about 55HP snowmoblie engine with clutches from snowmobile, 6 gallon gas tank.

0 to 30 under 3 seconds, top speed is unknown I took it up to 70mph once on the road and smoked the brakes trying to stop it. it will pull the front tires on cement from a stop, I will get some video of it soon. it's kinda funny how much the front tires grow after about 50mph.

hows it looking so far?

The swap was very hard, well for me anyway. I have about 50 hours in it. the big issue was figuring out how to mount everything and have it all line up with limited room and keep it reliable. pretty much had to cut the back of the cart apart and fab a new one. thanks to Buggynews I read about swapping my rear tires and got the extra inches I needed to fit the motor.

The motor is a 440SS 2 stroke out of an Exciter. here's one more pic. thanks for the comments Smile

im kinda stumped on the exhaust, it's just a PSI racing pipe from a Phazer. it works but not very pleasing to the eyes. I thought about having it plated but its kinda funky looking. if anyone has any ideas im open to suggestions...

Looking good! I hope you ordered a spare set of tires for the rear when you replaced them- you might need them! I would consider adding some kind of support to go around that rear for protection, though.

As for the pipe, check out what these guys offer.......

yea im going to make a removeable cage, I need to get a pipe bender first. I cut apart one of my older carts to get the bends I needed to install the motor.

Thanks for the link, I could use some of those U bends. I was thinking about a small car muffler packed in front of the motor, running the pipe under the motor with dual exhaust tips, one on each side of the hitch. theres just enough room to snake 2 inch pipes through the frame, like a truck hehe.

im not good with paintshop but the circles would be the exhaust tips. I don't know need to think about if for awhile.
