First Thanks Tom (kidnme) he supported me with the parts I needed to get my hh250ss back on the road. When I got it all apart the Starter was lockedup about as tight as you can get, so I changed the Ignition and starter and she fired right up. I also ordered a Uni filter and a 135 main jet from Tom and installed them I tried the redneck setup and had a backfire through the carb at low speeds. Took the pipe of the filter and mounted it directly to the carb got the same performance with very little carb backfire (only when cold). With these mods on a stretch of gravel road where I could only reach 37 mph by the speedo prior I now reach 42 mph, I thought that was pretty good for a $25 mod. Now the real test will be up north next week the wife and I are going riding and well give you an update.
