I think I broke my Rack

So, lets just say hypothetically, your enjoying a day of trail riding and you launch your Talon 150 through the air, and when you land, you don't have enough time to correct, and the left front wheel hypothetically nails a tree, and rips the ball in the rack and pinion out of the socket. Would you say, IF this actually happened to some poor shmuk, that he would be replacing the Rack, or is there a fix? And IF this actually happened, where might this poor shmuk find a rack for a Talon 150?

Just wondering, ya know, .... in case it happens.

Just buy a new inner tie rod, speaking of I need to find some locally for mine too; there getting kinda sloppy.

Wow what an unfortunate hypothetical scenerio. Just to follow up on the carnage, hypothetically, would there be any other damage to the front suspension of this particular Carter Talon? Wink

what year is it, and what model. yes check the spindle and tie rod mount on the srtut. those are the things that need to be checked if this ever happens Wink

Wow!! those are some pretty good hypothetical pics you thought of. Hope that never happens to me. It could hypothetically have happened to me at the 07' Bash last year. Wink
