Here is a sneak peek at a project in the works at Kinroad. This IRS 150cc Go Kart will blow you away at what it can do. No more of those "I can't get up that hill" day's. This thing has some serious low end torque.
The Go Kart will not be out till the end Of Oct. The pricing should not change by much. I estimated about $250.00 after it is in the US.
IRS stands for "Independent Rear Suspension". We put an ATV front end on it for better travel and ride. The Kart will come stock with 21" front tires but can be upgraded to 23" (seen in pic below) and the rear wheels will be regular 150cc but upgradeable to the 25" tires like you see on the 800cc or the new Phoenix 300. Cabin space is the same as a 150cc. The rear tires will be no more than 59". The engine is CVT but the reverse gear box is built into the engine (no more cables to break), and we used the same drive system as the 300cc. Video will be out soon.
The first picture you see is of the Kart when it had a regular front end on it. There is some talk that this version will hit the US first at the same cost as current Kinroad 150cc karts.
Enjoy, David

David I've noticed in several videos and pictures that the tires are mounted backwards. How come?

I got to tell you guys, I talked to Dave this morning and I had the privileged to watch the video of that 150 while we were on the phone. WOW, hard to believe that is a 150. It never once bogged down, those tires just kept spinning away. Truly going to be one heck of a buggy. Great work Dave!!! Can't wait to see one in person.

See, this is what needs to happen. I don't get why buggy companies can just sit around and not change a thing on a buggy and act like no one cares. I wish my Carter was more capable, but apparently they don't have the guts to really make some changes to the 150cc class. I really don't even think there should be 150cc, but if there was a 2 speed then it would be nice.
