1st- Tunes... had to have em, didn't wanna spend much cash...

Shot of the 2 smaller speakers and of the Zune holder, complete with zip tie Smile

Shots of the mount for my sub, it has 1x1 sticks to raise the platform (plywood) over the roll cage bar so it sits level.

2nd- Forced Air to CVT (unfinished)

Picture of the stock CVT cooler hose connected with 1 1/2" muffler pipe, bent into a 90* angle. The 90 also connect a wet/dry vac hose which runs up behind the seats, to the roof.

3rd- Real Redneck Intake
Well, I was too impatient to wait and order a UNI filter that actually fit, so.. I bought a Yamaha UNI filter with no collar (the boot that connects to the intake tube) Ihad a guy at work bend me some 1 1/2" muffler pipe and cut it. I had the end flared out so that it fit very snug inside the filer opening. No hose clamp, just a pressure fit. I then coated the pipe with Turboliner for protection.

Lastly- The rear bumper.
I had some trouble making it some hills last weekend, so i was often being bushed by an ATV. Well, the ATV had nothing to push other than the cargo rack (which is now tweaked out of square) I was wanting a push bar..so this is what we made. it is basically 2" muffler tube bent to fit. We also added some small tubing for a back brace and welded some tabs onto the ends for easy bolt on/off. Then, I Turbolined it.

The bumper is my favorite add on so far, but the air filter and cvt cooler are great too. I also added a InterState Cycletron battery, an 1/8" plexi windshield, used some Turboliner sample sheets to create mud gaurds

(the black sheet behind the front wheels)

(the black stuff behind the seats on the side of the cage.)

So far all the Liner sheets and windshield have kept my fairly dry (feet excluded) and mud free.

Let me know what you think!!

Love the mud shields and the push bar. Your doing great work. Looks like you could open up the muffler some and let that new air filter really breath!

thanks... But how much is too much on the stock pipe?

Also, what jet does the Kinroad Sahara (Sticker actually said Raptor) 150 have in the carb? What Jet would be good for my elevation/filter (2300 in town... +-3000 in mtns on trails)

U guys have any other ideas for additions?

I love pictures! Very Happy

2 Things.

1. The bumper is WAY COOL. Very good job.
2. Custom bending exhaust pipe and coating it with Turboliner looks professional. Hardly redneck. Very nice job.

Oh yeah, the audio system is cool too. I might have see about something like that myself.

nice mods rustyking, i like pictures Smile
i think your stock main jet is a 114. how does it run now with the uni-filter have you done a plug read to see what color it is and if it is lean? you are pretty good up in the elevation so i'm sure you won't be running a big ole jet like the guys close to sea level, air thinner up where your at.
i drilled my exhaust out, myself i'm not a big fan of gutting one lose to much bottom end.hope that don't make some of you guys mad its just what i like,i'm a bottom end junkie Very Happy
this is just a guess but if you need to rejet i would look at a 118 and 120 jet with drill out the exhaust and your elevation.
here is what i done to my muffler maybe it will give you an idea
are you still going with lighter rollers,1500 torque and bigger sprocket?

the 4 red holes go through outside of muffler and through both plates inside of muffler.
the yellow holes stop at the outside.
it seems to flow good and still have good bottom end.

Eventually. 9/10G rollers (possibly sliders, depending on the cash flow at the time of order) Are the sliders an advantage? Noticible differance?

I do alot of climbing so is a 1500 spring the choice or maybe a 2000?

As for the performance witht he new UNI... Take off seems a bit better, no stalling or hesitation. Will do a plug check today or tomm.

One mechanic at work is a sled/bike junkie, and he made a reccomendation... he runs a 50/50 mix of 110 octane racing fuel with reg. unleaded. He tells me its a very noticable differance, and never hurt any of his stuff. Just wondering if any of you guys have ever done such a thing.

This week my mod idea is an air box for the CVT hose. I think I may make a small box between the seats on the back of the cage to attach my hose to. Then I wont have a real redneck hose sittin on my roof.

Right now I am doing low cost ($0) mods. I have access to all materials I have used thus far, so if you guys have any ideas, send em my way. I am thinking of moving my mirrors out a bit to, cant see behind me, any ideas there?

Another finished addition..

I was working on a CVT intake tube, but had no clue on what i wanted... this is what i came up with...

cvt cooler.jpg: 1 Time(s) Viewed, 131.47 KB
Its basically a wet/dry vac hose, with a Vaccuum attatchment on the end. I put a peice of aluminum stock screwed into it. I drilled some holes and it has some filter foam inside... Sucks quite nicely and should even force some air in there while moving

rustking myself i don't think it is loud at all, i to didn't want a loud pipe so people wouldn't complain and for the back pressure for bottom end.
i really like the 10gram sliders they are good for trails and hill climbing makes buggy nice and torquie.i'm running them in a stock variator.they are a little more money but worth it in my opinion.
