I remember when I made my first post here. I was kinda scared and felt like a dork. I was afraid Jabo was going to read it and then reach through the computer screen and slap me silly bitch slap
But it was all good, and look at me now, I CAN'T STOP Blast with glee!

I tried Van, but my slap was blocked somehow... Twisted Evil

I'm not saying it's a bad thing with the number of those who post and don't post....

Heck I know of some two-dozen users who don't post. Some email me and ask questions.

Some of them only have internet access at work and if they get caught posting they may get fired. I even setup an account on one of my computers at work for a guy who connects to it and posts from there.

BNews is ALL about the help... Regardless of how that's dished out.

What's the best way to get these light posters to post?

1000+ active users is still a good, admirable feat.

Let's get more...

One of the nice things about BN, and a good reason for people not to be afraid of posting, is that there is a very accepting community here.

I have been a member on some other boards, where if you don't have "the right stuff", or if you say something that doesn't go with the crowd, you get crushed, melted, and left for dead.

I haven't seen that here. I don't get a real feeling of elitism here as I have on other message boards (on other subjects, not buggies). I've read enough now to know that there are better buggies, and cheap buggies, and I have one of the cheap ones, but no one has made me feel uncomfortable about that.

(If it weren't for the cheap buggy, I would be a spectator, not a participant in the sport, lol!)

I have also jumped in and asked a thousand questions, many of which have been answered before (ad infinitum), and some which were stupid, in retrospect, and I haven't been made to feel uncomfortable about that either. I am impressed with the folks here.

Anyone afraid of posting, and saying the wrong thing, or having the wrong stuff don't need to worry. I think most everyone here is just thrilled to share with others who enjoy this great sport.

Booyah!

Jamie, I must have had "Slap Blocker" software installed on my computer and did not know it! Wink
