ya know you got a problem.

My son and I were having a great time this afternoon with the buggies. We had gone through a very small creek several times, mud flying, grins all around - and then the left rear wheel of his Yerf-dog just floated away. . .

The Yerf-dog has been a decent buggy - I now know how to weld thanks to owning a Yerf-dog. And yes, I know the rear axle on the Yerf-dogs are notorious for breaking - I'm glad it has lasted this long. But its times like this that I really appreciate how well my HH250 is put together. It seems like for every minute we have the Yerf-dog out, I spend another minute working on it in the shop. I know there are reinforced axles available, but I plan on using a standard replacement axle. I might get one off ebay - heck there's even a shop in north KC that carries them. Hopefully I can make the o'l dog last one more year!

Sorry but that 2nd pic just make me crack up....

Sucks about your dilema, buggy depot has a stronger yerf dog axle that increases the wideness of the rear.

I dont know if it'd be worth another OEM axle because the same thing could happen again.

you could probably use some newer/better tires, at least from here they don't look like off-roaders Laughing . But that second pic had me chuckle a little too, just floating away!!

Yeah, I enjoyed this one too. I was laughing thinking about last year when Charlie and I were racing and he sort of slowed down to let me pass him on the inside of a turn. As soon as we got into the straightaway and I started coming around him his left rear wheel and hub snapped off his Yerf and as soon as the left rear chassis of his Yerf sat down on the dirt his eyes got as bg as his goggles Shocked He was holding on for dear life probably thinking it was going to flip over! It has before and of course with him in it Laughing
