with the set up I have in my 250 I gained 3 mph. If you just do the rollers. main spring and clutch springs expect 1-4 mph loss.

the Maloosi spring is stiffer than the polini. the Malossi will keep it in low gear longer. it takes more rpm to get the driven pulley to open up.

I'll tell ya, the biggest "Grin factor" I've had with my 250 was the redneck intake, rejet and a performance exhaust.
A lighter set of sliders and torque spring is also a pretty big gain in the "Cheap to do" mod catagory.
If you're racing, you have to get a better clutch (Uni HiT or Malossi), a variator (there's a few more choices here) and a kevlar belt.
"On the cheap" you can just get a set of clutch springs and replace the stock ones for a better response just to see what you can get out of it.

Good luck and keep us posted!
