i just had 2 brand new tires mounted today and when i went to go put them back on the buggy. i had the front end on jack stands, when i placed the wheel on the spindle and tightend down the nut to where it lined up with the key hole. if i grabed the wheel at the sides i could wiggle it. is this an indication of bearings wearing out? or the spacer getting wore out? what part number bearings do i need for the front of my blade? _________________ Blade 150DX

stang how much play do you have a little is normal or it has been on mine.the bearings in these buggys like ours are sort of just a floating bearing. (not sure if that is the correct term)
they just slide on the spindle and when tighten down they are supposed to come up against the lip on the spindle. you can't put any pre-load on them like on the front bearings on a vehicle hub.
how do the bearings look are they dry on grease there could be alittle ware in them,do to what you ride in.
blade powersports has them the inside shows a 6204 and outside not sure what yours takes the 6201 or the 6202 sealed bearing, probably have to contact them.
i would look at them good first before buying any
just my opinion.

trying a set of 10gram rollers now
i did look at them well. i stuck my fingers where the spindle goes and spun the bearings very freely actualy. but i did pump alot more grease in there while i had them off. the play is around a quarter inch for the front right but front left is a little less. that to me seems like quite a bit of movement. maybe ive just never noticed till now. well i guess ill ride it till the wheels fall off. lol literaly speaking. _________________ Blade 150DX

Grab those tires at the top and bottom and wiggle them
that way to check wheel bearing wear, if you grab the
back and front, and check it, you might be getting
some tie rod (ball joint) slop in there as well. _________________ 05 Blade SX-550 Suzuki

i grabed the top and bottom and its just as nasty as the side movement. they are done....same with the rear tires they move pretty good too. i just got back from the mud hole. im tired....nap time for this guy. _________________ Blade 150DX
