As you know, I've been here in Afghanistan fighting for some time now and my mom has been nothing but supportive of me. She hated motorcycles but let me get one, I was a punk kid disrespecting her a lot when I was a younger and she still loved me, though sometimes unconditionally. I joined the Navy in June of '05 and ever since then I've realized what a blessing she is to me (as well as my pops:) ) and i will always remember what she has sacrificed to make MY world go round more easily. I love my mom dearly and deeply and just want to tell all the mother's out there, from a soldier in Afghanistan, Happy Mother's Day and may God bless you for all you do!!
