This sounds like a question for Glade (doonrunr). Sorry I'm no help, but I pm'd you about the valve adjustment. Would like to know what you did.

If the fuse is good then check the circuit from the water temp sender. Check for loose connections and such. If it is not that then the fan itself may be wore out.

Well it is always the basic things to test or inspect. BUT the temp sensor to turn it on and off may be faulty. The fan can be checked simply by making up a jump wire from the battey, disconect the plug at the fan then tes it with the jump wire. If it runs then your temp sensor is bad. Replace that, and you should be up and running. After replacing the sensor if that is the problem, start and let warm until the fan starts, then you know all is ok, let it cycle a few times to make sure then you are ready for fun again.

jacumba, did you fix your fan? What was the problem? I'm having the same problem. I replaced the temp switch at the intake on the engine and it still does not want to come on. There's also a switch at the radiator. Guess I'll try that one next. Any other ideas anyone? Does anyone know if these two temp switches work together or is one simply for the idiot light?

The water temperature switch on the radiator is what controls the fans.

I had so many problems with the fan not coming on or coming on and staying on i installed a 15 amp toggle switch to the far left of dash also a 15 amp inline fuse. In cooler weather 80-90 the forward motion of the buggy seems to keep the engine cool. Then when i start getting on it or climbing and when in the loose stuff i switch the fan on till see down under 130 then turn off. The biggest problem is if you let anybody drive be sure to tell about fan switch. Otherwise it works great. Ghosthunter

I had the same problem this weekend!

After chasing the wire and looking for loose connections I determined the problem was in the fuse box! it had power coming in but no power going to the fan! I put in a inline fuse bewteen the power and fan wire and it worked!

I checked every fuse and tried a jumper on each one to double check! So it looks to be loose wire in the fuse box! The inline fuse works but if another wire comes loose the fuse box will have to be replaced!
