Blister, if he wants, he is more than welcome to ride with my son....if his legs are long enough, he can even take turns driveing....either way, as a passenger or driver, he will be able to ride.......just make sure you get there in one piece...! Very Happy

I just called Blade and ordered another kart. It should be here tomorrow. I will get the burnt one fixed and either sell it or put my daughter in it.

I can't tell you how bad of a situation this could have been. We usually ride the karts and then put them away in the barn where my business is run. Had I done this, I am sure the whole 3700 s.f. barn would have burned down with all the expensive machinery in it. If it had happened while he was driving, I would have caught it right away. I always ride right behind him with my motorcycle or buggy. From now on, I will always be shutting the fuel off when done riding. This kart was shooting flames from it. Since the fuel tank is above the engine, it got very hot. The fuel must have been boiling inside the tank when it was on fire because it was shooting flames from the fuel petcock about 8 feet out. Once I extinguished the fire, fuel was still shooting from the petcock about 6 feet out. It was a very scary moment. The thing is....Tyler kept saying something smells really bad while we were inside eating. I didn't smell it. I kept telling him to stop. This went on for about 10 minutes. That little stinker did smell something!

John,

If we get enough guys working together we can get it together in no time. It will be fun too!!!

I'll bet we can have that new kart put together in under an hour.

That helmet look pretty fried too! You want me to throw one of Baileys extra helmets in for Tyler?

Bill

Thanks Bill. That was Kylie's helmet. She is more concerned about her helmet than the buggy. She kept asking me if I was going to buy her a new one.

You can bet I will be putting that new kart together as soon as it arrives. I know you guys would help me out anyway you can. That's what makes our group so great!

John

Blister, sorry to hear about the buggy fire.

How bad is it? Does it look like it can be repaired at some point?

Glad you've got a replacement on it's way.

Let us know if you need any help putting it together. Adam and I will be driving through Indy sometime Wednesday.

Well, Adam and I have the buggies running with only a few small things to get done tomorrow.

I've got a new key-switch coming in and I'm hoping to have it arrive and get it installed before we load the buggies up.

Adam is going to put a set of plastics on my buggy. We were cleaning a few things up and he found the templates he made when he puts his on.

He'll be doing this while I wrap up a few things with a vendor tomorrow morning.

We'll be leaving work around noon or so. That should be put us just over the PA/OH boarder the 1st day. The 2nd day (Wednesday) we'll make to the park around 6:00pm or so.

For those of you that want to try to meet up and caravan into the park, we'll be following I-84 to I-81 to I-80 to I-71 to I-70.

My cell phone number is 860-748-1530 if anyone needs to reach me. I'll have access to email most of the way. You can reach me at chris@airtoxenviro.com.

Have a safe trip and let's B-U-G-G-Y !!!

If we are not allowed to keep buggies at site then where are they kept? Leaving out Thursday morning....just trying to get all info I can..Thanks

Yes, you can leave them at the camp site.

No, I haven't heard of any problems with theft.

Some of these guys sleep with their buggies....

Personally I don't think it will be a problem.
